This month we strut into Leo season exploring it’s archetypal gifts of mindfulness, guidance, understanding, commitments and finally ground into Virgo gifts of vitality and resolve at the end of the month.

Things kick off with Imbolc/Lammas celebrations, however we may not feel much like celebrating. Early in the month we may feel more drawn to retreat and reflection, followed by a surge of energy that is ready to lead!

There will be a hungry search for answers, as well as opportunities to really scream out “yes!” too if your gut says so.

This season usually feels beautifully creative and playful, especially when we commit to being in our fullest expression.

The butterfly reminds us of nature's cycles, as well as our ability to recreate ourselves when we have outgrown certain aspects. Are you in a love affair with life right now, with you as the lead role in the rom com of your life?! If not - why not?!

LEO WOMAN - The Sustaining Firess

She is the campfire, the warm, energetic centre of attention in any circle. The Mother of Fire is bold, bright, creative, proud and charismatic AF. The enduring flame. She brings the sustenance to keep ideas alive, helping them to manifest to their fullest potential. The admired one, the one with that charisma. That presence. That bold, glorious, brightly-burning fireplace that is a microcosm of the sun, personified. 

The proud mother desires to be witnessed as the powerful creative force she is. She is enthusiastic, confident and will usually be put “front and centre” of any family unit (or creative project!). She feels at home here, but equally loves seeing how others shine in their respective elements.

In light, she is gloriously bright, effervescent and creative.

In shadow, she can be vain, dramatic and lack vulnerability - demanding attention and closed to receiving feedback.

Integrated, she uses her sustaining inner and outer radiance to continually shine light on others which in turn feeds her flame to burn confidently, longer. She approaches life like an innocent child, inspiring others to be fuelled by their own creative lifeforce more.

Her familiar is the Lioness - symbol of proactivity, pride, protection, strength, confidence and community.

What are your Leo placements and/or which house does Leo rule in your chart? 

Take a moment to study these specific aspects of yourself in your chart:

Leo placements - what planets are in Leo?

Where is the sun in your chart? What house?

Who rules your 5th house? Who is that planetary ruler?

Once you have these details, take a moment to contemplate these aspects of yourself and how they play out. Journal how you embody your Leo energy and which areas of your life it flavours and impacts.
