ECLIPTICA:: The Mystic Feminine Lore of the Stars
As you know; I'm a deep lover of archetypal energies; with a big focus on the cosmos.
This year I have been studying Venus star lore and finding a deeper connection to the core feminine essenced planets and luminaries (Earth, Venus, Moon).
It had me then contemplating other planets that I personally had been deeply initated by in my life (Saturn and Pluto) that really helped me to understand my personal journey here on Earth; and helped me to heal deeper layers of my story, solidify my self gnosis and activate the most embodied version of myself thus far.
The more I studied these bodies together; the more I saw their mythology playing out in my life. You can choose your own school of mythology here; but I chose to share the Greek mythology here because it came first.
Gaia (Earth); our cosmic mother figure - the grounding and receptive force that anchors us here in our bodies and teaches us how to be stewards of earth.
Cronos (Saturn) our cosmic father figure; the mature force we need to create more boundaries and structures in this lifetime to free up our time and energy for what we truly value.
Selene (Moon) Goddess of the moon; she helps us to understand our subtle bodies and strengthen our intuition to sense the intangible.
Aphrodite (Venus); Goddess of love and beauty; who teaches us about what we value, what helps us to live within our values, that creativity is our birthrite and to always see the beauty in this (sometimes challenging) life.
Lastly; Hades (Pluto), king of the underworld; who teaches us about our collective shadow and the cycles of life here on earth so that we can see the bigger picture, be more grateful for the life we lead, and own our shit.
Together; they make a pretty powerful eclectic cosmic 'family' of lores givers for us to work with, in order to step further into our own self mastery and weave our unique part of the tapestry of life.
Of course; there are many more Gods/Goddesses and planets that influence us, too. However; I went with these five because of their perceived connection to mystic feminine lore that I believe we all need to attune to.
After marinading in all the inspiration this year; I created a set of five talismans I'm personally very attuned to, to act as guidelines that we can live by. They are rich with symbolism from druidic, pagan and other geocentric influences, incorporate planetary glyphs and associations, all hand illustrated in my unique "more is more" style.
LET'S EXPLORE THESE FIVE LORES
1. The Lore of Embodied Wisdom (Earth) represents grounding spiritual wisdom in the physical world through harmony, stewardship, and embodiment.
2. The Lore of Gnostic Boundaries (Saturn) symbolizes setting boundaries based on self-knowledge and responsibility, fostering growth with discipline and integrity.
3. The Lore of Lunar Lineage (Moon) embodies emotional depth and connection to ancestry, honouring the wisdom passed through generations.
4. The Lore of Regenerative Love (Venus) represents love as a regenerative, cyclical force. It also captures the importance of creativity, beauty, and connection.
5. The Lore of Sacred Transformation (Pluto) embodies the transformative power of life, death, and rebirth. It urges the release of the old self for renewal and rebirth.
