In Human Design, "Authority" refers to the inner decision-making process that each individual is designed to follow to make choices that align with their unique energetic blueprint.

There are several different types of Authority, and each Aura Type (Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, and Reflector) is associated with a specific Authority.

Following one's Authority is believed to lead to more aligned and fulfilling life experiences, and it's a huge game changer when you stop taking blanket advice in the spiritual and personal development industries that say generic things like "trust your intuition" "follow your heart" "what does your gut say?" - these are only helpful to small groups of the population, the rest of us get conditioned by them!

🌊 EMOTIONAL:
Emotional Authority is one of the most common Authority in Human Design and is associated with Generators and Manifesting Generators. Individuals with Emotional Authority are designed to make decisions based on the emotional wave they experience. Before making a choice, they need to wait for their emotional wave to stabilize, which can take hours, days, or even longer. Decisions made during moments of emotional clarity are considered more accurate.

💌 SACRAL:
Sacral Authority is associated with Generators and Manifesting Generators. People with Sacral Authority have a defined Sacral Center, but no defined solar plexus, which is the center of life force energy and vitality. Their decision-making process involves listening to their gut response. When presented with a choice, they can answer with a clear "uh-huh" or "na huh" response based on their Sacral response.

💡 SPLENIC:
Splenic Authority is associated with Manifestors, Projectors, and Reflectors. Individuals with Splenic Authority are designed to make decisions based on their intuitive and instinctual awareness in the moment. Their decisions arise from a feeling of knowing and can be quite spontaneous.

💜 EGO (HEART):
Ego Authority is associated with Projectors. People with Ego Authority are designed to make decisions based on the feelings and desires that arise from their Heart Center. It involves listening to their heart's desires and feelings of recognition and invitation from others.

🗣️ SELF-PROJECTED:
Self-Projected Authority is associated with Projectors. Individuals with Self-Projected Authority need to talk out their decisions with others. Verbalizing their thoughts and hearing themselves speak helps them gain clarity and arrive at the right decision.

🌿 ENVIRONMENTAL:
Environmental Authority is associated with Projectors. People with Environmental Authority are designed to make decisions based on their environment and the people around them. They need to be in the right environment and with the right people to have clarity in their choices.

🌝 LUNAR:
Lunar Authority is associated with Reflectors. Reflectors are rare, and their decision-making process is influenced by the lunar cycle. They need to give themselves a lunar month (about 29.5 days) to make significant decisions, allowing them to experience the full spectrum of the lunar energies.
