Welcome back to the final lesson of my three-part series, helping you decipher the magick encoded within your Astrology (and Human Design) chart, and the charts of those you love.

In part one we looked at the Cosmological Bodies, in part two we looked at The Zodiac Signs - now let’s make sense of The Houses!
This is where many come undone and the whole thing becomes too complicated.

When looking at your Astrological birth chart, you’ll notice it’s depicted as a wheel like graphic – divided into 12 portions. Those pizza shaped portions are what we’re referring to, and much like the planets and signs, each has its own theme and energetic symbolism.

The Zodiac begins with Aries, who rules the 1st house. Within your birth chart, this will be your rising sign! Aries is by nature a self-focused sign, and the 1st house is all about the self, appearance and outward personality. See, similar themes!
The second sign is Taurus, who rules the 2nd house. Taurus is all about their values and material possessions, just as the 2nd house speaks to our personal resources, security and earning ability.
And so on.. 
Aries - Taurus - Gemini - Cancer - Leo - Virgo - Libra - Scorpio - Sagittarius - Capricorn - Aquarius - Pisces - then we loop back around the wheel once again.

Looking at which house each planet falls into, weaves further detail into the story of how that energy plays out for you - in your life. Paying special attention to any house densely populated with planets! Three or more planets in one house is called a "Stellium" - this energies of this house, its planets and sign, are going to be a significant element of your life.

self, appearance, face, outward personality, physical body, self-awareness, beginnings.

2nd HOUSE 💸
“I Have”
personal resources, money, possessions, values, skills, earning ability, how you acquire + use resources.

3rd HOUSE 🧠
“I Think”
communication, mental activity, learning, siblings, short journeys, neighbourhood, basic thought patterns.

4th HOUSE 🏡
“I Nurture”
home, parents, roots, inner security, automatic emotional response, heritage.

5th HOUSE 🌸
“I Create”
romance, fun, children, creativity, physical pleasures, social entertainment.

6th HOUSE 🍊
“I Serve”
work, health, service, self-improvement, diet and food, care of body, conditions of sickness.

7th HOUSE 💌
“I Partner”
partnerships, marriage/relationships, what is lacking in self, how we see others, what we attract.

8th HOUSE 🔮
“I Circulate”
sex, death, letting go, regeneration, other peoples money, sharing, occult and higher sciences.

9th HOUSE ⛰️
“I Explore”
higher education, philosophy, publishing, religion, travel, law, teaching, legal systems.

10th HOUSE 💼
“I Achieve”
career, status, reputation, profession, vocational purpose, ambition and material goals, how the world judges you, honour.

11th HOUSE 👯‍
“I Aspire”
friends, groups, goals, aspirations, hopes and wishes, humanitarian endeavours, group expression and creativity, money from profession.

12th HOUSE 💭
“I Dream”
self-undoing, hidden support and limitations of self, hidden enemies, emotional blocks, institutions, unconscious thoughts, transcendence.
