What internal changes are you navigating? This new moon and solar eclipse requires us to go deep within and articulate what it is we desire to transmute within us this cycle. This is akin to the caterpillar in the chrysalis phase; where plenty of inaction externally allows for opportunity to transform and alchemise recent learnings through the art of being.

This is a universal permission slip to do and be nothing; for in this space the next incarnation of you can be birthed. Call on the spirit of Aloe Vera to protect you externally while you go on this extremely delicate and sensitive internal adventure. If you feel like a ball of mush - this is perfect! Allow yourself to be in your vulnerability and choose to honour this process for it is one which in 6 months time you will be so grateful for.

As we enter into a new season flavoured by the archetype of cancer - the divine mother - we are entering a portal to look at nourishment and nurturing; or lack there of. 

Cancer - the Cardinal Wateress; is a powerful initiating force using the power of our emotions to blast through to the heart of the matter. We ask - what is really driving everything we are feeling right now? How can we take charge of our emotional health and 'mother' ourselves back into alignment? What would the divine mother whisper into our ears in our down or vulnerable moments?

She beckons us to take the lead here and call forward a new level of emotional intelligence and collective healing.

CANCER - The Initiating Wateress

She is perceptive, caring and nurturing - sensitive to the world around her and dedicated deeply to understanding the need for personal emotional security and sovereignty. This Maiden of Water is on a pursuit to protect that which matters most to her, which is always who is closest to her heart, including herself.

Cancer is soft, gentle, the lick of a glimmering wave on the shortline. The first drop of rain on your head. She will show you how to access your subtle self and thus experience the vast range of your emotional potential.

She is inspiring, empathetic and can tend to be focused on the self so much that it can isolate others (through isolating herself!). Her dharma in this lifetime is to venture out from her own inner nest more and share her nurturing, intuitive and healing gifts with others and illuminate theirs to them.

In shadow, she can be moody, self-protective, hypersensitive and isolating

Integrated, she uses her acute sensitivities and empathic nature to encourage others to share their vulnerabilities in a safe, well-held space.

Her familiar is the Turtle, symbol of longevity, survival, protection, wisdom, healing, sustainability and intuition
