Human Design :: Godheads
Who's your Personality Deity?
Through the Human Design Lens
I’m really loving studying Godheads this year!
When I discovered mine a couple of years ago; everything finally made sense in relation to my spirituality and beliefs. I believe we can learn alot through different archetypes, and we all have a spiritual mission; alongside a mundane earthly one.
This is how we can bring the two worlds together, through understanding our divine “mission” through understanding aspects of ourselves and our cosmic blueprint, and how that’s playing out on the earthly plane.
In Human Design, Godheads represent archetypal forces that influence our lives through specific themes and energies. These Godheads are linked to the gates in the Human Design system, providing insights into our personal strengths, challenges, and evolutionary path.
Understanding the Godheads can help us connect with our divine nature, align with our unique purpose, and navigate life with greater awareness and empowerment.
So - pull up your HD body graph and look at the Gate Number of your Conscious Sun, as illustrated below. If your body graph generator of choice isn’t showing this full graphic, your Conscious Sun is also the first number of your Incarnation Cross.
There are 16 Godheads in total, divided into 4 Quarters and each quarter fulfils its purpose in a different way. So do pay attention to the Quarter your Sun Gate falls under, alongside the energies of the Godhead itself.
Humans with their sun sign in the Quarter of Initiation are on a journey to develop and refine their mental capacities, exploring themes of knowledge, awareness, and the power of the mind to shape their reality.
