The 3rd quarter is similar to the first quarter when exactly half of the lunar face is illuminated and the other half remains in darkness. This marks the mid point between the last full moon and the next new moon and next full lunar cycle.

Symbolically, it is said to be a time of releasing, reviewing and refining projects we started with the new moon. It’s a great chance to work with a lull in energy this cycle brings and to fine tune things, finalise the details and being to look forward by planting seeds to the next set of intentions come the new moon.

Work with this symbol to remind you to take a step back and observe where things need to be resolved and finalised, follow up any last minute things and to forgive yourself and others for the challenges you have been dealt and look to the lessons gained and the abundance of progress made.
