So often we experience challenges that ask us to acknowledge our triggers, to uncover wounds and to sit with our sadness and this is a psychical reminder of how important it is to not deny our true feelings at challenging times and to allow them to wash over us intermittently, like the ebbs and flows of the tide.

Notice the references to the ocean in the mandala design, an ode to the wild and wise sea and her influence on us emotionally and metaphysically.
