THE RITUAL:

Find a quiet, open space with plenty of fresh air, where you can comfortably sit or lay down. Begin by connecting to your environment, feeling the air on your skin, noticing the temperature and any aromas you can smell. Then drop into your body and specifically into the cyclical nature of your breath.

You’re going to take a nice deep breath in and as you do, imagine you are inviting pure light into your body - breathing in the full illumination of the moon into each and every cell. Hold this light in for a few seconds, and then release it back out into the space around you - now becoming a part of your auric field.

Visualise your body and aura being cleansed with this light over the course of several deep, intentional breath cycles.

In quiet contemplation, ask yourself - what is it that you need to see right now? What is being illuminated? What needs to be acknowledged, accepted and then released?

Consciously create stillness and space within your mind for the answers to come through, as you continue the light breathing exercise.

The air element is about strengthening the mind, clearing the lungs and aligns well with tools such as breathwork. You might also like to bring essential oils into this practice, using their aromatic scents to imagine this light moving through your body.

Take as much time as you need here to process this practice and allow it to integrate, and consider making more intentional breathing a priority over the next couple of days as a beautiful way to honour this ritual and the current cycle.
